Hi everybody,
I promised you an update about my physical therapy and so, now that Mom is off the computer, here it is.
Last week, Mom took me to the vet's office and she examined me. She said I was protecting my weak leg and that I would need therapy to help it grow stronger, so yesterday was my first appointment. We went in, and I had to get into this long box with a tredmill on it. I knew what that was, and at first, I was happy. I've walked on Tredmills before and know how to do it, but never with watter around them. I didn't like the water at all, and I kept trying to get out to where Mom was. She stood in front of me and told me what a good boy I was. I just kept walking on the tredmill, and Dr. Julia kept trying to give me treats, but I was too stressed to take them.
After a while, the tredmill stopped moving and they turned on these loud jets which made the water bubble. I wasn't so scared anymore, and I took treats from Mom and Dr. Julia. Finally, after a long time, they let me out of the long box and I shook off. They dried me with towels and then put my front half on a ball. I was scared and tried to climb over the ball, but Mom was there and she wouldn't let me. She held my head and told me I was a good boy in a calm voice. I got less scared after that. Dr. Julia made me stretch my back legs out while I rested on the ball, but only fir a little bit and then I was done. After that, Dr. Julia did some kyropractic something on my back and neck, and I felt much better. My back didn't hurt anymore and after we were done with PT I slept a lot the rest of that day.
I go back on Friday for more Mom says and she also says I'll get used to it, but I don't know. I don't like water and the jets scare me, but Mom says this is how they'll make my leg all better and I believe her.
Tomorrow, Mom and I are going to speak at a school with lots of kids. We like doing that a lot, and I like all of the little kids. Well, I'll end this entry for now, but I liked telling you all about my PT stuff. I'll write again tomorrow and tell you about the adventure at the school.
bye for now everybody,

wow, your whole family is in physical therapy! I can relate - if I were in your paws, I'd be REALLY scared. Jets are scary. Water is not, but jets are!
Hope you get better so you don't have to have surgery.
PS Kids scare me - you are a better dog than I am.
Do you have to have surgery or your PT helping? I hope you don't have to get cut up.
I've had a bad infection on my nose and had to wear a cone forever. Joan says it's almost time to take it off since my nose is almost all better! yeah!
